Most design studios make you request a quote to find out whether you can afford them. I would rather you knew now. Every fixed price below is hours multiplied by my hourly rate and rounded to a clean number — so any figure on this page can be explained by the work behind it.
Local web design and build sit at one rate. Product and UX consulting — research, design systems, prototypes for engineering teams — sits at another, because it is different work.
| Service | Rate | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Web design & design concepting | $75/hr | Discovery, art direction, page design, design systems |
| Front-end build | $75/hr | HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, Next.js |
| Product & UX consulting | $125/hr | Research, flows, prototypes, design-system architecture |
| Rush delivery | +25% | Compressed timelines under two weeks |
Hours are tracked and reported. Two-hour minimum on hourly work.
A paid first step that ends with a written scope and a fixed price — credited in full against any project booked within 30 days.
Pick the shape that fits. If none of them do, the Discovery Sprint ends with a fixed price for the one that does.
One page that has to do a single job well.
Your content, rethought and rebuilt.
A complete small-business site, custom designed.
Identity and site designed as one system.
A larger site you can edit yourself.
Stores and app-like builds, scoped individually.
Further revision rounds beyond the two included run at the hourly rate.
Research, prototyping, app design and design systems — the work that decides whether a product is worth building before it gets built. Priced at the consulting band, with the market range shown next to every number.
Senior freelance UX and product-design rates in the US run roughly $120–$200 an hour, with senior averages near $138. This band sits at the lower end of that, and every price below is hours at that rate — checked against what the same deliverable costs elsewhere.

High-fidelity interactive prototypes typically run $5,000–$25,000.
End-to-end product design for a mobile app, ready to build.
Market
Full app design typically runs $5,000–$30,000 over 2–12 weeks.
The reusable pieces your product gets rebuilt from.
Market
Starter design systems typically run $1,500–$8,000 over 4–6 weeks.
Identity and component library designed as one system, not bolted together.
Market
Growth-stage systems run $8,000–$50,000 over 8–12 weeks; enterprise systems $40,000–$80,000.
Research feeds the prototype, the prototype feeds the app design, and the component library is what stops the app design drifting six months later. Booked as a sequence, the later stages take fewer hours because the thinking is already done — so the quote reflects that rather than stacking the list prices. A Discovery Sprint is the right way to find out which of these you actually need.
Most clients do not need a retainer. They need a predictable way to get small things done without a new quote every time. Unused hours roll over one month.
Effective $75.00/hr
Small edits, content swaps and the occasional fix.
Effective $71.25/hr
Regular updates plus a new section every month or two.
Effective $67.50/hr
Ongoing design work with priority turnaround.
Projects under $1,500 are split 50% deposit and 50% on launch. $1,500 and above are split 40% deposit, 30% at design approval, and 30% on launch.
On final payment, the design files, the code, the domain and the hosting account are yours. Nothing is held hostage and there is no proprietary platform to stay locked into.
Anything outside an agreed scope is estimated and approved by you in writing before it is worked. You will not receive a surprise invoice.
Availability is first-come. Booking a start date requires the deposit.
That is what the Discovery Sprint is for. Tell me what you are trying to do and I will tell you what it takes — in writing, at a fixed price, before you commit to a build.
